Welcome to ACADEME.

ACADEME is a multi-faceted initiative that aims to offer health care professionals in primary care comprehensive and up-to-date educational opportunities in identifying and managing patients at risk of cardiovascular disease.

ACADEME encompasses a range of web-based and practice-based educational materials.

This ACADEME website includes a range of Case-Based Learning Modules, Online Journal Clubs, Quarterly Newsletters, a regular Newswire and a Cardiovascular Toolbox that gives you direct links to a wide range of resources that will facilitate your everyday practice.

In addition, ACADEME includes a series of regional primary care based meetings. The ACADEME Primary Care Master Class Series brings together local enthusiasts and experts to focus on a particular aspect of cardiovascular risk management. Each meeting will take a case-based approach and will give you a unique opportunity to get to know your local colleagues and the services they provide. You can register to attend one of these meetings via the ‘Events’ tab on this site.
